Margaret was a past member of the East Berkshire UMC, the Women's Society of Newark and was attending St. Patrick Church in Brasher Falls. She is survived by her husband, Claude; three sons and daughters in law, James and April Diles of Candor, Creighton and Sharon Diles of Candor and Jerry and Jackie Diles of Winthrop; two step-children, Ernest Archambault and Caroline Archambault, both of Connecticut; grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her first husband, James Diles, two brothers, George Ace and Earl Ace, one sister, Hazel Scherter, predeceased her.

Her family will receive friends at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, Sunday from 6 to 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11 am at St. Lawrence Church in North Lawrence with Rev. Patrick Ratigan celebrant and Rev. Garry Giroux concelebrant. Burial will be Wednesday at noon in East Newark Cemetery in the Town of Newark Valley.
