Hogansburg – Jimmy Sellers, 59, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center with his family by his side. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Jimmy was born on January 5, 1957 in Tuba City, AZ, son of the late Mable Sellers and Evan Huskon. He moved to Akwesasne and practiced his silversmith trade. He married Leah Smoke on May 28, 1994. He is survived by his wife, Leah; two daughters, Tesha Sellers of Hogansburg and Natasha Smoke Santiago and her husband Joshua Sergeant of Ft. Covington; three grandchildren, Ionawiienhawi, Shoienkwarowane and Ronkwetiio; his brothers and sisters, Edward Sellers of Tuba City, AZ, Evelyn and Carl Yazzie of Homestead, FL, Eva Manymules of Tuba City, AZ and Norman Manymules of Tuba City, AZ; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Betty Jean Sellers and one brother, Richard Sellers. Visitation was held Monday from 2 to 7 pm at the Homemakers. Jimmy's final prayers will be held Friday in Tuba City, AZ. Memories and condolences can be shared with his family at www.hammilllfh.com
