St. Regis Falls – Thomas E. Patnode, 65, passed away Friday evening, Sept. 9, 2016, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Following his wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. Thomas was born in St. Regis Falls on September 16, 1950, son of the late Leo J. and Odena M. (Waite) Patnode. He attended St. Regis Falls High School and went on to work at Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station. He devoted himself to the duties and details of his job as Supervisor. He married Nancy Young in Manheim, PA in 1998, sharing a union built on love and respect. Tom was an outdoorsman; he loved hunting, fishing and motorcycles. He was looking forward to the opening day of hunting season this year. He treasured his family and friends and the happy memories that were made. Tom was a member of the American Legion and Am Vets in PA and the St. Regis Falls Sportsmen’s Club. He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy, his son, Kory Patnode of PA, his five sisters and four brothers in law, Beverly Kimball of St. Regis Falls, Nancy and Russell Walker of St. Regis Falls, Jeane and Larry Rivers of St. Regis Falls, Barbara (Bobbi) and Dan Ziarno of Clifton Park, Ann and Don Roberts of St. Regis Falls, one sister in law, Jan Patnode of St. Regis Falls, one granddaughter, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, David and Leo Jr. (Corky). Memories and condolences can be shared with his family at www.hammillfh.com.
