Rayden L. Labarge

January 1, 2006 — November 11, 2017

Potsdam- It is with deep sadness we inform you of the passing of Rayden L. LaBarge, 11, who passed away on Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital, after complications due to the flu. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.

Rayden was born in Potsdam on June 17, 2006 to Brian L. LaBarge and Virginia (Eibert) Moses. He was a 6th grade student at Potsdam Central School who enjoyed his education, was extremely intelligent and created friendships with students and teachers alike.

He was blessed with a bright spirit and quick intellect that was far beyond his years. When it was nice outside, Rayden loved to go 4-wheeling, fishing, and burn that extra energy. He also enjoyed watching YouTube videos, playing Xbox 360, Xbox One and Sega.

Rayden will forever be in the hearts of: his father and step-mother, Brian and Jamie LaBarge of Potsdam, his mother and her companion, Virginia “Ginny” Moses and Wayne Planty Jr. of Parishville; his brothers and sisters: Tegan Crites and Kacielee LaBarge, Alyssa, Cameron, Treytin, and Austin Eibert; his grandparents: Carol Despaw of Norfolk, Lori and Robert Crites of Chase Mills, Vicki and Alan Cole of Parishville, Wayne Planty Sr., Sharon Maroney both of Potsdam, and Dave and Kathy Eibert of FL.; his Aunts and Uncles: Jason and Becky Despaw, Kendra LaBarge, Billy and Heather Crites, Victoria and Franky Gomez, Mary and Travis Moulton, Becky Eibert and Josh Kennedy, David, Ricki, and Danielle Wright; numerous cousins, his teachers and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 pm at the Hammill Funeral Home. In keeping with his families wishes Rayden’s Funeral Services will be held privately at their convenience.
