Carliena Victoria Temper Gober, 87, of Buford, Georgia died Saturday September 11, 2010 in Mtn. View Health Care in Clayton, Georgia.
Born September 9, 1923 in St. Lawrence County, New York, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mabel Carr Tender. She was the widow of Clyde J. Gober. She was a retired bookkeeper with Atlanta Housing, was a member of the United Methodist Church, and was involved in various church activities. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star (OES) for 65 years.
Mrs. Gober was preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Ray and is survived by grandsons; Stephen Ray of South Plainfield, New Jersey and by Campen, Redding and Guy Gober of Tiger, Georgia; by Theron, Mitchell and Grant Gober of Canton, Georgia; by granddaughters, Cathy Long of Flowery Branch, Georgia; by Leah, Georgia and Moranel Gober of Tiger, Georgia. Also Surviving are; great granddaughters; Victoria Long of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Amanda, Collins, Heather, and Kristy Ray of South Plainfield, New Jersey; one great grandson; Michael Ray of South Plainfield, New Jersey; also two stepsons; Guy Gober of Tiger, Georgia, and Clyde J. Gober, Jr. of Ballground, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 11:00, in Fairview Cemetery in Brasher Falls, New York.
The Hammill Funeral Home has been entrusted with her local arrangements.
