Midlothian - William Joseph "Bill" Breede, 84, of, passed away on April 5, 2014. He was born on January 3, 1930 to the late Anna Jane and William A. Breede.
Mr. Breede was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a Golden Gloves award winner for boxing in the Army. He loved fishing, baseball (Richmond / Atlanta Braves) and The Price Is Right.
Survivors include three sons, William Joseph, Jr. of Milboro, Va., Reginald Francis of Mount Dora, Fla., and Timothy James of Midlothian; two daughters, Robin Lee Lyerly and her husband Jimmy, of Midlothian; and Rhonda Jean Weeks and her husband Randy, of Powhatan; four grandchildren, Tara Dana Cliborne, Andrew Joseph Weeks, Christine Ramona Weeks and Paul Frederick Breede, Jr.; one great-granddaughter, Lydia Rose Cliborne; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Ramona Ann Rebar; his youngest son, Paul Frederick; two brothers, Joseph and Francis Breede; and three sisters, Anna-Marie Zurn, Kathleen Riley, and Mary Jane Beecher
Vistation will be in Midlothian VA at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and where funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Southville Cemetery at a later date.
