Nicholville

Nicholville - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brandon Lee Lucas, 39, who departed from this world on March 18, 2025.

He was born on June 6, 1985, in Malone and attended St. Regis Falls High School, later earning his GED.

Brandon was known for his adventurous spirit and his love for the great outdoors. Whether hunting partridges, fishing, or ice fishing, he embraced every season with enthusiasm. In the winter, he could often be found snowmobiling or snowboarding, or he could be heard sharing his stories about his first job as a ski instructor at Titus Mountain in Malone.

His passion for the outdoors was matched only by his love for family traditions, such as sugaring Maple with his family, which created lasting memories. His thrill for adventure extended to his passion for fast cars and motorcycles, including his beloved crotch rocket.

He held a special place in his heart for his loyal canine companions, Buster and Cooper, who brightened his days with unconditional love.

He had a kind-hearted and friendly nature. Brandon was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need or open the door for a woman at his father's store.

Music was another significant part of his life; he attended over 40 concerts, always seeking out new experiences and the joy that comes from live performance.

Brandon worked at Bitcoin in Massena, line construction for a sub-contractor and worked construction for the Labors Union #322.

He leaves behind a loving family, his parents, Tony and Pamela (Parker) Lucas; and his sister, Meagan Lucas, his aunts and uncles, Tracy and Tracie Lucas, Martha Tyler, Genieve Votra, Ginger Peary and her companion Sean DeCarr, Karen and Terry Stark, Ronnie Ashlaw, Billy and Donna Ashlaw, JoAnn Hendershot, Raymond and Janet Parker Jr., Tina Parker, Marlene and Scott Hendershot, Joan and Pete Childs, Janet and Richard Mitchell, Kelsey Buck, and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Manley and Rita Lucas, and Ray and Letha Parker , three aunts and four uncles, Raeann Rivera, Judy Peck and Cathy Labar, Steven Parker, John Ashlaw, Kenny Parker, and Timothy Lucas.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, where visitation will be held Tuesday March 25th from 5 - 7 PM. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday March 26th at 11:00AM at Mound Hill Cemetery in Nicholville.

For those wishing to express and act of kindness, memorial contributions in Brandon's honor, can be made to an addiction rehabilitation center of your choice.

Brandon will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
