Brasher Falls - David G. Brothers, 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 2, 2014. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
David was born on September 20, 1961 in Canton, son of the late Glendon G. and Harriett M. (Pharaoh) Brothers. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central School.
He met the girl who captured his heart, April LaPrade and shared their life together for 24 years, with the addition of six children.
David was a pipe fitter and welder by trade; working for Cianbro out of Maine and starting his own company - Brothers Pipe Fitting and Welding Services. He took pride in his work and was powered by his keen knowledge, to do the job right.
He was blessed with his six children, who energized his life with their smiles and embraces. He always made them feel special and was an important part of their lives from the moment they were born.
