Donald L. Roach

Winthrop- Mr. Donald L. Roach, 64, passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday May 31, 2019.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, where calling hours will be held Monday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. Donald’s burial and graveside service will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM at Winthrop Cemetery.

Donny was born in Potsdam on March 2, 1955 to the late Donald and Eunice (Goodnow) Roach and attended St. Lawrence Central High School.

He is survived by 3 brothers: Rodney, David, and Steven Roach, and his dogs who he affectionally called “his girls”, Molly and Dolly. He was predeceased by his sister Eunice Roach who passed on July 10, 2016.

Donny was very fond of his trucking business, enjoyed chopping and cutting firewood, but was most known for driving around town in his truck making several stops along his way to share in conversation or lend a hand.
