Donna Gardner

North Lawrence - Donna A. Gardner, 71, passed away on December 2, 2023, at Oswego Hospital.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 8th, from 10 am to 1pm at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Her funeral service will begin at 1 pm with Pastor Belle Burgoyne officiating, followed by burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery in North Lawrence.

Donna was born in Potsdam on February 8, 1952, daughter of the late Ambrose and Lucy (Derosia) Woodard. She married John H. Gardner in Potsdam on November 22, 1969.

She is survived by her husband, John Gardner, her son, John Gardner, and her daughters, Charity Gardner and Belinda Viola, sisters, Pauline Jerome, Linda Stark, Shirley Avadikian, and Susan McGregor, her brothers, Roger Woodard, Butch Woodard, and John Woodard. Her memory will be forever cherished by her grandson Michael Viola and granddaughter Shayla Gardner.

She was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Lorie Gardner, sisters, Laura Hamilton and Betty Snyder, and her son-in-law, Mark Viola.
