Earl J. Belile

Parishville - Earl J. Belile, 86, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Massena Rehab & Nursing Facility.

Earl was born on May 7, 1938, in Louisville, son of Earl and Esther (Shaw) Belile. After graduation he joined the U. S. Air Force. He worked for over 30 years at ALCOA in Massena in the pot rooms. He married Eileen L. Durgan in Colton on January 31, 1987. Eileen passed on June 22, 2012.

An accomplished musician, Earl played in the Old Barn Boys Band, and the Atkinson's Band. He accompanied Donny Woodcock and was well known in the Blue Grass community.

He is survived by his children, Sharon Hampton of Washington State, Mary and Linda Hampton-Cole of Watertown, Richard and Barbara Hampton of Colorado, Carol Green of Watertown and Arlene and Randy Bump of Parishville, two brothers, David Belile of Massena and Richard and Cynthia Belile of Cheektowaga and sister-in-law Bernice Belile of Louisville, many grandchildren, great grandchildren. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Duane and Art.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Knapps Station Community Church, 3035 County Route 47, Norwood, NY 13668, from 2 to 4 pm, with a service at 4 pm.
