Glen Trimble

March 29, 1938 — January 11, 2025

Glen Harris Trimble, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY. Glen graced this world on March 29, 1938, born in Rochester, he is the son of the late Elmer Glen and Marion Ruth Trimble. He graduated from Edison Tech School in Rochester and served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1955 to 1958. He went to Agra Business School at Cornell, finishing in 1960. He went to work for C-B Foods, a Division of Curtice-Burns, in Rochester in 1961. He called himself the canned vegetable salesman. Glen worked hard at his job and earned the title of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He started his own company in 1979, and was president of Lea Associates, (named after his daughter) for many years that was a great success. He had two children: David Trimble and Tara Trimble. David passed away on May 13, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Tara Trimble of Webster, his grandson, Dillon, his ex-wife, Abigail Trimble, his companion, Harriett, and the many friends around the world.

Glen was a friend to everyone he met and quickly became part of their families. He enjoyed discussions about life, adventures, debating politics, all with that twinkle in his eye and that infectious smile. He would travel to Myrtle Beach, Mexico, Costa Rica in the winter to get away from the cold. In the summers, he enjoyed camping in Brasher Falls, where his list of friends/family grew. He battled cancer many times, always beating the odds and continuing his adventurous life. He met a companion in Canandaigua and found happiness. He had several good years until his breathing became struggle and pneumonia set in.

Glen was one of a kind, whose life will remain in the hearts of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Following Glen's final wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held later this year (he liked warm weather) at Fairview Cemetery in Brasher Falls.

Rest easy Glen, we will cherish your love and friendship.
