Joanne enjoyed sewing and cooking; her homemade donuts were a family favorite. She was a member of the Winthrop Grange and the Tri-Town Senior Citizens. Joanne is survived by her six daughters: Julie and Peter Maslyn of Farmington, Jenny and Gregory Marsh of Winthrop, Jerrie Anne and Brian O'Rourke of Powell, OH., Jessie and Robert Chandler of Rochester, Sarah Gregory and Luc Andraud of East Amherst, and Stacie Sears and Brian Lanning of Massena; 11 grandchildren: Jacob, Elizabeth, Olivia and Grace Maslyn, Gillian and Max O'Rourke, Cody Chandler, Annaliese and Eloise Gregory, and Abigayle and Aaron Sears; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her husband, Joanne was predeceased by her sister Lorraine Chapman and her brother Gerald Smith. In keeping with Joanne's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be celebrated Monday September 4th at the Brasher Falls United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place in Willis Cemetery on May 5th at 9:00 am.
