Judith M. Lyon

Brasher Falls- Mrs. Judith M. "Judy" Lyon, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at the Massena Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. Judith was born on December 18, 1945 to the late Edward and Elizabeth Watkins in Solvay, NY. She attended the Charles Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY where she graduated from in 1963. On November 23, 1963 she was joined in marriage to Jack Lyon. She is survived by her husband, Jack , her children; Jack Lyon Jr. of Brasher Falls, Joel Lyon of North Syracuse, Jamie Lyon of Brasher Falls, Jody Gadway of Brasher Falls, her grandchildren; Nick, Cassie, Ashley, Anthony, Abby, Hunter, Levi, Isaiah, Riley, and one brother, Thomas Watkins of Conesus, NY. Judy was a homemaker, devoting her love and care into her family and home. She was thoughtful of others and dedicated to her family. Judy took pleasure in games of chance. She enjoyed Bingo, and loved to travel to Las Vegas when given the opportunity. Nothing gave her more joy, than her nine grandchildren. They were all "#1" in her eyes. She cherished time spent with them. For those wishing to do so memorial donations may be made in Judy's honor to the Helena Fire Dept. Friends are respectfully invited to the family home located at 1093 Ct. Rt. 53 in Brasher Falls, to share in the memories of Judy on Saturday October 2, 2010 from 3-5pm.
