Keith A Mitchell

Brasher Falls - Keith A. Mitchell, 55, passed away unexpectedly, April 18, 2011 at Massena Memorial Hospital. Keith was born on November 18, 1955 in Massena, son of the late Howard J. and Madeleine D. (Chartrand) Mitchell. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central School in 1973 and entered the U. S. Army in 1974. He was honorably discharged in 1976. He was a carpenter by trade, his last construction work was for Danko Construction, when his illness kept him from physical labor. He last worked as a deliveryman for the Courier Observer in Massena. Keith is survived by two brothers and sister in laws, Donald and Linda Mitchell of Brasher Iron Works and Paul and Robin Mitchell of Yadkinville, NC; two sisters, Barbara Kline of Connecticut and Rhea Jean and Bobby Benge of Ronda, NC; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, 6 to 8 Thursday, with the funeral gathering at 8. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Brasher Falls.
