Larry Garvey

North Lawrence - Larry E. Garvey, age 72, departed this life peacefully on March 3, 2025, at Rochester Regional Hospital in Potsdam. Born on April 10, 1952, in Potsdam, he is the son of the late Lawrence and Ruthie (Hartson) Garvey.

Larry operated the family farm and was a self-employed truck driver until he retired.

Larry is survived by Nancy LaBier, his partner in life and love. He leaves behind cherished memories with his children, Joshua and the late Sarah Garvey and Jedidiah Garvey, step-daughter Lara Taylor, his sister Debra and Pete Parker, his four grandchildren, Hunter, Bradley, Valerie, Odessa, and lots of extended family members. Each one carries a piece of his heart and will honor his rich legacy.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held later in June, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and fond memories. Though his physical presence will be missed, Larry's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Union Cemetery in Buckton, NY.

As we celebrate Larry E. Garvey, let us remember a man who embraced life with open arms and a joyous heart. His journey may have come to an end, but his legacy will forever remain in the lives he touched.
