Marlowe Villnave

Marlowe “Sloakie” Villnave, 63 of Cicero, NY passed away unexpectedly Wednesday. Born on January 20, 1954 in Massena, he graduated from St. Lawrence High School in 1972. He was employed at Cooper/Crouse Hinds for 43 years and member of IBEW 2084. He enjoyed his hats and his hunting even if it was just to get out of the house to take a nap. He was predeceased by his parents Myrland and Hazel (Buskey) Villnave and his brother Douglas.

He is survived by his wife Joyce; a son Gregory (Kayla) Villnave; a daughter Lacey Lewis; a brother David Villnave; four grandchildren Shannon Lewis, Brayden Villnave, Maeve Villnave and Sylvie Villnave; many nieces and nephews; his sister-in-law Nikki, and of course Mr. Cobb.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6th from 5 to 7 pm with a service to follow at 7 pm at the Hammill Funeral Home, 653 State Highway 11C, Winthrop.
