Robert N. Clark

Dickinson Center, NY – Robert N. Clark, 77, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 at CVPH in Plattsburgh, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on August 16, 1947, in St. Regis Falls, son of the late Milon and Nellie (Hart) Clark. On December 2, 1967, he married the love of his life, Dolores Parks in St. Regis Falls. They had a blessed union for 57 years, filled with many wonderful memories. He worked for General Motors in Massena, NY for 20 years and the Highway Department for the Town of Waverly for 20 years. 

As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time with his friends at hunting camp. He was a member of East Brook Hunting Club and the St. Regis Falls Sportsmen’s Club. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time helping at the Palmer family farm. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, making maple syrup, playing cards and spending time with his family. Bob was an adventurous man with a huge heart. His unconditional love for his family was evident by the amount of time his children, grandchildren, and great grandchild spent with him.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Dolores, his cherished children, Robert N. Clark II and his wife Kelly of Dickinson Center, Amy A. White and her husband, Mark of St. Regis Falls and Marcy J. Lucey and her husband Danny of St. Regis Falls; his treasured grandchildren, Kyle Clark and his wife, Emily, Khalshia White, Dawson White, Karlee Lucey and Danny Lucey II, and his precious great granddaughter, Nora Mae Clark. He is also survived by his siblings, Donald and Kit Clark of Summerfield, FL, Sharen Edie of Arlington, WA, Ronald and Darlene Clark of Brasher Falls, Dale and Joyce Clark of Dickinson Center, and Brian and Cathy Clark of Nicholville, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Milon Clark Jr., and Phillip and Cindy Clark.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th at Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls from 1 pm to 3 pm, with a funeral service following at 3 pm. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in St. Regis Falls. There will be an opportunity to greet the family at the St. Regis Falls Fire Department for a luncheon after the funeral service.
