Royal Phillips

St. Regis Falls - Royal A. Phillips Jr. "Bear'', 71 Passed away at Albany Medical Center on Sunday September 10, 2023. Following his wishes, his family will honor his life privately.

Royal was born on November 13, 1951in Malone, NY, son of the late Royal A. and Edyth (Conger) Phillips Sr. Royal was a lifelong resident of St. Regis Falls, where he was a volunteer Fire Fighter for many years. He was also a past water superintendent for the town of Waverly.

Bear was a member of the Red Nights Fire Fighters motorcycle club, Chapter 35. He loved riding his Harley, hunting, working his sugar bush and hanging out with his fiancé and their many friends.

He is survived by his fiancé, Barbie Fitzgerald of St Regis Falls, his chosen children, Danyelle Fitzgerald, Zachary Fitzgerald and wife Anna, Josh Fitzgerald and wife Maureen and Patrick Fitzgerald and wife Sarah, a grandson Jameson Quinn and sister Beatrice Parks.
