Wanda Provost

Dickinson Center - Wanda E. Provost, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by her family at her home, 3 days short of her 90th birthday. She was born on March 5, 1935, to Lloyd and Gladys (Dubuque) Roscoe in Dickinson Center. Wanda graduated from St. Regis Falls High School in 1953. She was united in marriage to Irving Provost on August 3, 1955, by Rev. Bennett in Dickinson Baptist Church, where she was a member for over 50 years. They were married over 65 years until Irving's passing on June 27, 2021.

Wanda was employed at Bombay Slipper Factory for 30 years.

Surviving are her children, Irving "Randy" and Terri Provost of Sauquoit, Connie and Randy Jacques of Nicholville and Ricky and Rachel Provost of Dickinson, grandchildren, Rebecca Provost and Cody Kruchoski, Kaylan and Joshua Eiswerth, Angela Lucey and Nicole Lucey, great grandchildren, Allyson, Lillyan, Harlow and Hadley, her brother, Lee and Darlene Roscoe of Dickinson, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Rodney Provost in 1966, her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Janet Roscoe, and her aunt, Bernadine Peck.

Wanda was a member of the Dickinson Center Baptist Church, and a member of the Dickinson Fire Department Auxiliary. She liked to cook, with apple pies being her favorite.

Graveside services will be held on May 23, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery in Dickinson at 11 am. A reception will follow the burial at the Dickinson Fire Station. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls, where memories and condolences can be shared at www.hammillfh.com.
