inthrop - Scott M. Stoddard, 52, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, surrounded by his wife, kids and loving family

Scott was born February 27, 1970, in Potsdam, son of Rollin C. and Shirley (Green) Stoddard, Sr., joining his older brother Rollin "Rocky" Stoddard.  He attended Massena High School after living in Massachusett until the age of 17.  Scott worked at the Tru Stitch Factory in Bombay and then construction.  When Scott wasn't helping out anyone he could, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding wild rabbits in his back yard and spending time with his beloved dog, Sadie.  He also participated in demolition derbies and enjoying  tractor pulls with his stepson Danny.  Scott will also be remembered as "Little Baker"as his CB handle where he stayed in touch with friends and family.

Scott is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Patricia Stoddard, five children, Scott Clark of Massena, Brian and Alissalee Brown of Bombay, Caitlyn and Chris Thibeault of Malone, Kristen Gunderson and Bobby Knepp of Massena and McKayla Gunderson and Jacob Grimet of Massena, three step-children, Amber Bell of Saranac Lake, Danny Bell of Winthrop and Micheal Bell. 15 grandchildren, one brother, Rollin C. Stoddard, Jr. of Connecticut, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents and his "hog dog" Sadie.

In following Scott's wishes, there will be no public services.  His family will honor his life privately.  Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home, where memories and condolences can be shared at www.hammillfh.com.
