Brenda Sue Currier

BRASHER FALLS -- Brenda S. McCargar Currier, 71, Brasher Falls, passed away on September 16, 2022, at the Hyland Nursing Home in Massena.

Brenda was born in Potsdam on July 3, 1951, to Clarence R. and Grace H. (Jones) McCargar.

She worked as a teacher's aide at the Norwood-Norfolk Central School. She retired in June 2017.

Brenda loved her job, especially the staff she worked with and her students.

Brenda loved to cook and bake for her family. Carrot cake was her specialty.

She is survived by her husband of 48.5 years, Roger Currier; her brothers, Stephen and Carlene, Potsdam, Scott and Bobbi Jo, Norfolk, and her sister, Paula, Brasher Falls; her three nephews, four nieces; nine great nephews, five great-nieces; and one great-great niece; and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at the St. Patrick’s Cemetery in the future.
