Malone/ St. Regis Falls - Pearl A. Palmer, 102, passed away peacefully at Franklin County Nursing Home, Saturday, October 27, 2012. Arrangements are entrusted with the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. Pearl was born in Gile on October 14, 1910, daughter of the late Henry T. and Bernice (Peck) Potter. She received her education at Gile School, Guideboard School and St. Regis Falls High School. Her husband, Henry Palmer, predeceased her many years ago. She supported her family by working various jobs; waitress, housekeeper and as a nanny. Pearl attended the Free Methodist Church in St. Regis Falls and volunteered with the Salvation Army. Surviving Pearl is her son and daughter in law, Maurice and Lynn Potter of St. Regis Falls; grandchildren, Melody Potter and Patrick Metzger of Hamburg, Marina Potter of Saranac Lake and Mark Potter of St. Regis Falls. She was also predeceased by her brother, William H. Potter. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. Pearl's Funeral Service and Celebration of her Life will be at 11 am Friday at the Free Methodist Church in St. Regis Falls. Burial will follow in her family plot in Forest Cemetery.
