Gordon Roger Hull

Hopkinton - Gordon Roger Hull, 58, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Gordon was born in Potsdam on February 4, 1955, son of Chester L. and Barbara R. (Siltz) Hull. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central School in 1973. Gordon worked for many years on the railroad and while living in Florida, he was a caretaker at a church camp and in 2006, began work at Home Depot in Massena, until he had to retire due to his illness. Never one to be idle, he enjoyed woodworking and being in the outdoors; fishing, hunting, and ATV's. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Hull of Ft. Jackson; his loving companion, Doreen Woods of Hopkinton; one daughter, Jessica Hull of Cazenovia, one step-daughter, Brandi Reff of IN, one sister and brother in law, Nancy and Richard Eakins of Hopkinton; two brothers, Darwin Hull of Potsdam and Jerry Hull of Alabama; and two step-grandsons. His father, Chester L. Hull predeceased him on April 13, 2002. His family will commemorate Gordon's life with a Remembrance Gathering, Saturday from 12 to 2 pm with a service at 2 pm. Burial will be in Hopkinton - Ft. Jackson Cemetery in Hopkinton. Memories and condolences can be shared with Gordon's family at www.hammillfh.com.
