June R. Ploof

Dickinson Center – June R. Ploof, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at The Alice Center in Malone. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. June was born on June 3, 1923 in Malone, daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Wilson) Rogers. She married Kenneth Ploof, who passed away on March 30, 1998. June was a NYS Licensed Insurance Broker working for the Fuller Agency in Malone for many years. She was a member of the Dickinson Center Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Roger and Maria Ploof of Albany and Bruce and Donna Ploof of Dickinson Center, grandchildren, Roger, Tyler, Amanda, Evan Amy and Vickie, two sisters, Pauline Smoral of Syracuse and Betty Smith of Ogdensburg. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen who passed away on March 13, 2015, siblings, Jean Mumley, Luella Monaghan Brouillette, Ann Slobanin, and Edward Rogers. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. Her funeral service will be on Monday at the funeral home at 11 am with Rev. Donald Work officiating.
