Brasher Falls - Jack H. Hilbig, 81, passed away Friday evening, November 26, 2010, at the home of his son and daughter in law, Randy and Judy Hilbig, with their love and the support of Hospice. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Mr. Hilbig was born on August 2, 1929 in San Bernardino, CA, son of the late Ralph and Emma Blackburn Hilbig. He graduated from Cal Poly Institute in San Luis Obispo, CA and in 1951 married Patricia Gould on November 22nd in Las Vegas, NV. Mrs. Hilbig passed away in 2005. Mr. Hilbig was a mechanical Engineer for Rohr Industries in Chula Vista, CA, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Ford Club of America and was presently restoring a 1939 Ford. He is survived by two children, Mary Frederick and her husband, Karl of Vancouver, WA and Randy and his wife, Judy of Brasher Falls; his twin sister, Claire Summers of Tucson, AZ; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His daughter, Kathy Hilbig-Redel , one son, John Hilbig, and one brother, Floyd Hilbig predeceased him. A memorial service will be held at 10 am Saturday at the Brookdale Wesleyan Church in Brookdale.
