Winthrop – Donald C. Clark, 59, passed away unexpectedly, Friday May 8, 2020 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Following his wishes there will be no services, arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Donald was born on July 16, 1960 in Potsdam, son of the late Harold M. and Barbara J. (Bandy) Clark. He attended Norwood-Norfolk High School. He married Robin Lynn Powell on June 16, 1984 at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Norfolk. He worked as a logger and operated Custom Furniture Restorations in Norfolk until he became ill. He would relax fishing and hunting, but his greatest enjoyment was making memories with his family and grandchildren. Surviving Donald is his wife; Robin, his children; Thomas and Tiffany Clark of Hannawa Falls, Adam Clark and Ashley Parrotte of Massena, Harold Martin Clark III of Winthrop, his grandchildren; Kaylynn, Koda, Kai, Aurohra, Link, Lillie and Norahleigh, his siblings; Harold M. and his wife Emma Clark of St. Roberts, Missouri, Cheryl Rabbitt of Winthrop; Acelia and Pat Tyo of Smithville Ohio, Patricia Clark of Pierrepont, Barbara Wynn of Shreveport, LA, and Kelley and her husband Richard Arnold of Arizona. He was predeceased by three sisters: Lola, Beth, and Meredith “Merry”. Donald and his family were grateful to the doctors and nursing staff at the Center for Cancer Care, as they rendered profession and empathetic care during his visits.
