Lottie B. Morrill

December 29, 1925 — June 10, 2020

Stockholm- Mrs. Lottie B. Morrill, 94, peacefully passed away on June 10, 2020 at her home, comforted by the presence of her family. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Due to current health concerns and in keeping with state restricted regulations, the immediate family will honor Lottie’s life privately. Lottie was born in Leicestor, Vermont on December 29, 1925 to the late Mearl and Emma (Smith) Euber. She attended school locally and was married at 15 to Luther Waldo Morrill. The ceremony was held on February 26, 1941 at the Catholic Church of the Assumption in Middlebury, Vermont. They had 7 children together and shared a blessed union of 58 years until Luther passed away on January 22, 2000. For many years Lottie worked as a clerk at numerous stores in the Potsdam Area; Fishmans, Ovalwood Dish, Montgomery Ward, Pearls, and Cowens Country Store. She was a meticulous woman who appreciated organization and attention to detail. Lottie took on daily tasks with grace, was always present to her husband and children's needs and her caring and loving nature was something that was received by friends and family alike. Lottie is survived by her sons, Richard Morrill of Potsdam, David Morrill of Florida, Craig (Beverly) Morrill of Potsdam, and daughter, Diane Morril (BJ Stone) of Potsdam; and she leaves behind many grand-children and great- grandchilren. Besides her husband, Lottie was predeceased by three sons, Robert, Ron, and Eddie Morrill as well as her two brothers, Victor and Edmund.
